My day was about as banal as a day can get...no drama...no excitement...no gossip...UNTIL, I opened my mailbox and received some snail mail from mah Boo! Thanks, V.V., for the extra-long letter and for even thinking about my stinkin' needs of having to get snail mail more than once every 2-3 months...I read that john twice, sonnn. 'Twas probably one of your best to date.

Meanwhile- this box of Pocky threw me off for a hot second. I bought it at Cost Plus just because 1) I have an unhealthy addiction to Pocky sticks, and 2) the whole packaging is just discriminatory! One thought did run amiss though- I totally forgot where this box came from and the fact that it is an import from a country that probably still adheres to gender-specific rules. Seriously though, these Pocky sticks didn't even taste "manly"...I mean, they didn't even have that characteristic dark chocolate bitter taste. One would think they named it "Men's" for a reason. Oh well, you know how men don't really make sense anyway.

No, I'm not a feminist...just a realist.

Just kidding, people. You know I love me some men. Handsome ones with quick repartee are a must.

**EDIT: Since this was a hodge-podge of a post, I'd like to add that I find it absolutely amusing how many comments/questions/concerns I get when I'm eating halo-halo around non-Flips. Yes, those are beans mixed in with milk and yes, it's sweet...and yes, that really is some purple ice cream. And yes, I love it.
