VB: One of my favorite moms
Victoria Beckham catches a lot of slack for her waif, nearly-anorexic frame, but I absolutely adore her. I find her steely exterior quite endearing, not to mention her newest and best accessory, Harper.

Love me some sneakas
I covet this hard.
I bought two pairs of the Nike Sky High Wedge Dunks shamelessly. I wanted to secure a couple of pairs before they were completely sold out. My fiance, mom, and sister begged me to return them (bigger priorities: saving up for grown peopleshit schtuff), so after much debate and discussion, they dragged me back to Nordstrom's kicking and screaming to return those bad boys.
Luckily, I still have my knock-off black pair of Isabel Marant's. Phew. Close call.
P.S. My favorite pair below is J.Biel's bright yellow ones. Of course I love gray and this punch of vibrant yellow really gives the laid-black hues a pop of pizazz.

NYC Marathon 2013
Beyond STOKED to receive an email in my inbox yesterday regarding the forthcoming NYC Marathon this year!
The bolded magenta above is MY CATEGORY :))!
The event will be held in early November, which means I have roughly 6 months to train. I'vewaited patiently was rejected for three years to run this race and cannot wait to start training. It will definitely be challenging to train concurrently while playing soccer on two teams, but the speed work I do during a game will help out my time tremendously. I just have to get my butt out there on the weekends for the compulsory weekly long run. : /
I emailed Lats to let him know that we need to start booking airfare and travel STAT and that he better not book some ridiculous red-eye flight to touch down in La Guardia the morning of the race (if you know Lats, you know he WOULD so do this lol).
This is what I'm looking forward to:

2013 Marathon Registration
This year, NYRR is committed to returning the ING New York City Marathon to its familiar place as an uplifting celebration of our great city. Our priorities in determining the 2013 registration process include maintaining the important diversity of our entry categories: NYRR members and local runners; participants from around the nation and the world, reflecting the diversity and global nature of NYC; and people running for charity (with an emphasis on NYC-based charities).
Based on the 2012 Resolution results, we are pleased to announce that in 2013, NYRR will be able to accommodate the following categories:
| • | NYRR-member 9+1 qualifiers |
| • | Time qualifiers who achieved the standard in NYRR qualifying events |
| • | Those who have run 15 or more New York City marathons |
| • | Those who have earned guaranteed entry after being denied three times previously |
| • | Charity Partner Program participants |
| • | Those who entered through an International Travel Partner |
