anti-climactic

Even though Misty and Kerri won another gold-and no other American team has done this-the whole sweep was anti-climactic for me. Maybe I was just moody yesterday and didn't really want to deal with the world. At any rate, they accomplished an impressive feat and I'm still very proud of them! And to add to that- they kicked some azn ass in the rain!



Crossing that international date line is really messing up my entire Olympics experience because everytime I read the news or the Times, all of the winners are already posted! I am so disappointed that Allyson Felix didn't win the 200m...and I can't believe Usain Bolt beat Michael Johnson's world record! I guess since I watched the Olympics when Michael Johnson sported his gold shoes and witnessed his basking in his glory, I didn't want his realm to come to an untimely end with the dominance of a Jamaican 21-year old. Not to mention, Michael Johnson is way more handsome than Bolt.
