At any rate, a lot has transpired since then- namely, that Lats and I are EXPECTING! I am due on Friday, February 13th, so that puts me about a little less than 2 weeks away until Baby Shea graces us with his presence.
Good thing to note is that our nursery is all set up and we have mostly everything in anticipation of his arrival. How am I feeling? I think for the most part, a combination of nervousness, excitement, fear, curiosity. I used to feel trepidation when it came down to the actual labor and delivery portion, but I think I am ready for it now. I am actually wondering if the rumors are true that it hurts. I say this because I plan on doing an non-medicated birth. I believe and think I can do it based on what others have told me and the pain sounds manageable. I have my birthing ball ready and my hospital bags packed. Now it's just a matter of waiting... tick, tock...tick, tock.
