call me your resident I.T. professional!

You just don't know how happy I am- I cracked the code! My laptop had a trojan virus, which I've been having a difficult time removing for the past week or so. Even the Norton-provided Symantec removal tool wasn't the panacea. Part of the difficulty was the sheer fact that I couldn't send the trojan virus into the recycyling bin (intuitively, this made the most sense considering the fact that I knew the exact location of the bloody sucker); therefore, I put my laptop into "safe mode" and was able to remove the virus manually by sending it to the recycle bin at that mode. It was soooo GLORIOUS sending that biatch to the bin!

At any rate, I'm just letting you readers know in advance about this catastrophic trojan virus (it, in essence, behaves like a Trojan horse and disguises itself from anti-viral software as "safe" material to have in your hard drive) that squirms its way into your Microsoft files and can allow other malicious malware into your operation system.

PHEW! I'm back in commission. I am now comforted by the fact that my system is scot-free. Plus, you DO NOT want to pay for the associated fees in speaking to a Norton professional; those fools charge mad bank just to ask a dang question.
