Bye books, hello e-reader (iPad)?
Even though my loving boyfriend bought me an early birthday gift- my beloved iPad- I still crave purchasing books (in fact, I did buy a soccer paperback this week!). There is something comforting in the smell of a brand new book. As a young child while meandering around in bookstores, I would pick up books I was interested in and take a deep whiff of the new pages, being careful so as to not damage the spine, cover, or book contents of the treasured adventure waiting to happen.
I love the post 'because i'm addicted' did earlier today in reverence of the unique book collections one can shelve for decor. Should we trade in what we deem as antiquated book collecting- which I truly LOVE- for the more eco-friendly and space-saving e-reader device??
I adore cerebral-looking family/living rooms. There is just something cozy about being able to pick a book up off of the shelf and curl up on the couch and READ.
