Chris Brown's (*eek*) new video, "Crawl," featuring Cassie and her half-shaved dome has been in my head all Thanksgiving break. I feel twinges of nostalgia when I replay this song in my mind and it surprisingly reverts me back to unrelated events as I'm about to explain...Our next-door neighbors in Sac moved out and although they were the type to keep to themselves, their mere presence was enough to keep us comforted even if we didn't communicate on a regular basis. Unbeknownst to the both of us, we would occasionally take turns putting our curbside garbage totes back to their home bases near our garages.
Pardon this diversion, but here is the video I wanted to post that makes me miss our neighbors. Side-note: These neighbors waited-out the bursting of the housing bubble, but felt their pockets cinch at the waist unfortunately. Even worse, they literally moved out their last bits of belongings on Thanksgiving Day. :(
Side-note #2: The reason for the title of this post- Seriously, who can rock a half-shaved head of hair with the sexy, stylish poise of Cassie?! This personal 'branding' tactic really worked though because after she shaved her head, I did pay attention to her more.
